Dr. Benjamin Botwe

Dr. Benjamin O. Botwe is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Oceanography at the Department of Marine and Fisheries Sciences of the University of Ghana. He has over 10 years of experience in university teaching and research. His scientific research has focused on the anthropogenic and climate change influences on coastal and marine ecosystems. These include human health and ecotoxicological risks assessment of chemical pollutants, environmental radioactivity and modelling of particle fluxes, water quality assessment, and fate of chemical pollutants in coastal and marine ecosystems. He has participated in several conferences and has authored scientific peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters. He is also a reviewer for many scientific journals.
